How to Read a Book

At first glance, it may seem as though reading a book is just the act of set your eyes upon its letters. Yes, it is, but to get the most out of it, to really absorb the message within, there’s maybe a method that can be used 🙂
Mortimer J. Adler presents one that might appeal to you.

“Reading is learning” is a simple sentence; but if at one place we mean by “learning” the acquisition of information, and at another we mean the development of understanding, the proposition is not the same, because the terms are different. Yet the sentence is the same.
